Anita L. Woodfork
FOUNDER | WRITER | PRODUCER | DIRECTOR
Anita L. Woodfork, known professionally as Wolf B. Yerger, is a dynamic storyteller whose work captures the raw grit of real-life experiences. A proud citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation and native of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Anita developed her voice as a writer while studying at UCLA’s Screenwriting Certificate Program, debuting with her short play Lunchtime.
Her early work includes the feature script When Embers Fall, inspired by the true story of a Holocaust survivor who developed mental illness, and The Audacious Descendants of DeWitty, a stage play chronicling the journey of Black homesteaders who founded Nebraska’s largest African American settlement. Anita gained valuable production experience at KPAS Pasadena Channel 55, serving as producer, stage manager, and camera operator on multiple local programs and PSAs. She later co-created NOHO: The Series, a gritty urban drama filmed guerrilla-style in Los Angeles.
Now based in Atlanta, Wolf continues to merge authenticity and cultural depth through projects like Good People, a dark drama exploring the hidden lives of call girls, politicians, and criminals and Na’Gol – The High Priestess, a fantasy/sci-fi web series told from African and Native American perspectives.
